Today I come on an extra day to show you the card that I should have shown you on day 1. But since you still have time to participate in the challenge, I'm here on time with this little piece of inspiration.
I remind you that the theme is “Ink Blending” and that we challenge you with the color combo of honey yellow, ocean blue, apricot, pale green and lilac.
The technique used and the steps I took to make it are the same as in the previous card that I showed you a few days ago.
It is about masking the entire background, leaving only the flowers exposed (you can do them all at once or one by one) and inking with the chosen colors.
To avoid "staining" the center of the flowers, I will also mask them to make them look better.
The background is colored with a black alcohol marker.
The sentiment is die-cut on gold mirror cardstock and the shadow on white cardstock.
Simple and super fast, and it looks that good.
I hope you like and inspire.
