Zero Stamping Christmas Card with Polkadoodles

Just 12 more days before the big holiday! It's Deidre and I'm wrapping up (no bow included LOL) my guest design posts this month with you Clever Dexter crafties :)

How sweet is this digital stamp by Polkadoodles?! It's called "Time to Give Gifts" and it's just precious.

I knew I didn't want to overwhelm the design with coloring and that I wanted to use some paper-piecing. I picked out the little girl's hat, the mistletoe and berries, and the bear's scarf as my focal points. I printed the image 3 times, once on white paper that would be my actual design and then two more times on the decorative paper I was using. After doing all of my coloring, I glued those fussy-cut pieces into place.
I literally did ZERO stamping on this card, just lots of coloring, tracing with a fine tip black pen to make the lines pop, and cutting.
You can join the fun and maybe win a prize at the challenge blog!

Craft Design Tip: Don't be overwhelmed with lots of small images. Pick out some focal points and give lots of color and interest to those.
