Give a Hoot About the Holidays

Whooooo's ready for the holidays?? It's right around the corner and I'm miles from complete. It's Deidre and I have another crafty inspiration if you're still cranking out cards!

This is another cute Polkadoodles digital stamp. I love owls because my grandmother used to collect them, so it's very nostalgic for me. How darling is she, all dressed up to trim the tree. I used a bundle of Copic markers, but I really wanted the background to make the image pop off the card. I found my stash of paper pads and used decorative holiday papers and some awesome wooden tree embellies. A little clear glitter pen to those trees and they sparkle in the light!

Tip - Use the Rule of Thirds to divide space on your cards, like I did with the decorative paper on the background. It gives interest and is a naturally pleasing aesthetic that grabs your attention,
