Today I bring you a “clean & simple” style card as inspiration for this month's Clever Dexter Challenge.
Our sponsor this month is Polkadoodles that has allowed us, the DT of this challenge, to work with this label called “Doggy Tails Honeypie” that you can find on their website.
The challenge during the month of September is themed "Sparkle and Glitter" and the optional color combo: amber, red, sand, classic blue and bright green.
If you are not friends with glitter or do not have much material, you can do something as simple and at the same time as brilliant as what I have done on this card. It is very simple.
To start, color and cut the stamp with the medium that you like the most. In my case I used my Finecolour.
On a white panel we make a background that does not take center stage. I have used a die that makes a drawing based on small points, but you can use an embossing folder or simply fold lines with your table.
We add the glitter with a pair of glitter washi tape. They are not expensive, they are sold in bazaars and you don't need much. If you don't have one, you can always apply a few strips of double-sided tape and on top of it, stick colored glitter.
Finally, die-cut the letters of the sentiment several times making a fake chipboar. And to give it shine we apply Wink of Stella or some other similar product and Glossy Accent to finish it off.
We glue everything in place, and the panel on the base color matching the letters.
Simple, fast, without many materials and with a lot of shine.
I hope you like it and encourage you to participate in the challenge. I also invite you to visit the Polkadoodles page to see these and many other precious stamps and the Facebook page, the blog or the IG profile of the challenge to see more inspiration from my DT colleagues.
