There is still loads of time to work on the challenge!

Directions to create this card!
  1. I started this card by printing it on both cardstock and masking paper
  2. Then I used my fussy cutting scissors on the masking paper
  3. Next, I applied the masks to the card front.
  4. After that I doodled out where I wanted the background.
  5. I achieved the look by using Post-Its as masks/stencils
  6. Then I brought out Tim Holtz Distress Ink and Oxide
  7. The ocean and the sand are done in Distress ink
  8. As for the coral reef that is done with Distress Oxide
  9. The rays of light were done after I blended the colors of blue ink to create the look of the ocean
  10. To create the rays of light. I started out with a stencil
  11. Once the stencil was in place.
  12. I brought out the white ink and applied it over the top of the stencil
  13. After that I removed the masks from the images and started to color
  14. The fish is done with colored pencil and the mermaid is done with alcohol markers.
  15. I then preceded to take a Distress Crayon and draw a few under water plants.
  16. And to complete this piece, I used a pen to draw the white lines on my mermaid
A complete list of the supplies is under the picture. The list, contains compensated affiliate links. If you wish to create a similar card. There is no cost to you for using the links. But it does provide funds to help continue this blog.
