You're so special

 

Hello and welcome back to the Clever Dexter Challenge blog.  We are almost at the end of the month and that means that today is the last day left to enter your beautiful creations into the challenge for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate from this month's sponsor.....AlexSyberiaDesign.  For this card I decided to use the Sketched Bouquet digi.

 This beautiful sketched floral is perfect for many different colouring mediums and I love the look of all of the amazing loose watercoloured cards and paintings I see, so I wanted to give this card a similar look but I choose to turn to my beloved alcohol inks for this card. rather than watercolours.  To apply the inks, I used both a paintbrush to paint the inks on and for some I added the inks and alcohol and let it blend together, but tried to control them somewhat. 

 

In theory this is a rather simple card, in regards to how it came together and fairly quickly too, even though it may not look so simple..  All it needed was a beautiful floral bouquet, some inks, a perfect sentiment and a few sequins. Sometimes you  don't need much to make a beautiful card.
