Kindness Challenge and Some Digi Stamping

Hey Clever Dexter crafties! We're heading into the last week of our KINDNESS challenge with an optional color combo of: white, blue, green, purple, and yellow.

I have totally loved playing with these AlexSyberia Designs digital stamps. You may also see them go by "digi stamps" - it's the cool kids lingo :)

These florals are so pretty! I wanted them to drift across the front of my card, so I did a little layering in my fave editing software that I bought years ago, that still works just fine.

Disclaimer - I totally ADORE every single digi that I use! My editing is simply to create a card with the look I'm going for...Not to sell or claim the new image as my own. Please think copyrights and kindness for the super talented artists who share their gifts with us!

Here's a quick how-to:

1. Open the digi stamp - in this case, AlexSyberia Design Bouquet Sketch and create a new canvas the size of the card you'd like to make. Mine was 5" x 6.5".

2. Duplicate the layer from the digi to your new canvas. I did this twice so that I could create to layers and get more of her floral goodness on my card :)

3. Turn off the visibility of one layer and twist, turn, and resize to your liking.

4. Use the eraser tool to digitally "fussy cut" your image...this is just as tedious as using tiny scissors with paper, so take your time.

5.  Make the next layer visible so that you can twist, turn, resize, AND line up the this layer with your first nicely "fussy cut" image.

6. Repeat step 4 and 5 until you like it.

7. Print at ACTUAL SIZE so that it fits the card you want...or not LOL. Feel free to change it up :)

I hope you give it a try!

We can't wait to see your challenge projects. It might be cards, scrapbook layout, home decor, tags, journals, notebooks, bookmarks, and more! AlexSyberia Design will be giving away a $15 Gift Card for this challenge to her Etsy Shop.

Pop on over to my blog to see the Copic color combo I used and to watch the video of how I created this layout. Thanks for stopping by!
