Smile, life is beautiful

Today I bring you this super simple and quick card to make for the Clever Dexter challenge

I have made it with the “Art Nouveau Bloom” stamp from ThePaper Shelter brand following the optional color combo we had for this month: red, coral, green, mint green, beige.

You still have time to participate and win the three stamps of the sponsoring brand that there is a prize. You have until the end of the month to participate.

Now I tell you how I made the card.

First, as always, I colored the stamp with my Finecolour. And then I cut it out emptying the inside of the crown (the space between it and the doll)

The background is the simplest... I just printed it from the file that is included in the zip file that you download when you buy a stamp from The Paper Shelter. All the stamps have a matching background.

I glued the doll with double-sided foam tape centering it. And the whole card on a white cardboard base.

To finish, I needed a feeling and that is something that lately brought me headlong in all the cards I had to make. So I printed on cardboard a series of generic words (congratulations, smile, with love...) and complementary phrases (it's your birthday, life is beautiful, for the best person I know) that they combined and now I just have to cut the strip that need depending on the project you are working on.

On this occasion I chose "Smile, life is beautiful".

I cut the word "Smile" around the edge and the rest of the sentence as a strip and glued them at the bottom.

And this is the result.

I hope you like and inspire and remember that on the CleverDexter Challenge blog you will find much more inspiration to encourage you to participate in the challenge that will be open until the end of the month. Share your creations with the hashtag #cleverdexter2020 and follow us on the networks.

See you!
