X’s and O’s Challenge #2
Monica from OwlMakeItCrafts here today sharing some inspiration for the Clever Dexter Challenge #2 and this month’s sponsor is Polkadoodles. They have a variety of digital stamps that are too adorable to pass up, so be sure to check them out if you haven’t before. For today’s card I am using the adorable image called Too Cute- Kitty Love and it goes perfect with this month’s theme, X’s and O’s.Be sure to check the challenge post here and submit your project to participate. The challenge goes from February 1st to the 29th and you can find the rules over at the Clever Dexter Challenge page. I colored this cutie using Derwent watercolor pencils and adding details with Prismacolor pencils. I wanted to make this a cuddly fussy kitty. I added sparkle pen to some of the hearts. I fussy cut the image out and pulled out some pattern paper for the background. I also used the hearts from a recent Creepy Cute Chronicles image, colored it with alcohol markers and stamped XOXO on one of the balloons. I used a gray and white twine for the strings and tied it to the balloons. Recently I have been doing a lot of partial popping of the images and I popped the top portion of these balloons.

I then added the kitty, again popping only part of his head with foam tape and glued the rest of his body to the panel. I like putting things at an angle so I added the panel on to a pink panel and then mounted it on to the cardbase. To add some more details I added some flatback pearls in red to add a pop of color.
Hope you enjoyed this project and hope to see you join he challenge 😉
