Are You Inspired Yet?
Hey there clever crafters!!
Lizzy here to bring you a bit more inspiration for our 2nd challenge here at Clever Dexter!
If you haven't yet been by Clever Dexter Challenge #2 you can check it out HERE.
Our generous sponsor for February is the fabulous Polkadoodles who has given our team 3 sweet images to play with and today I am here to share my project that I created with their romantic image called True Love.

True Love by Polkadoodles |
I first cut the image out of 140lb cold pressed watercolor paper using my Silhouette Cameo and I am so excited to say that I have finally found the perfect cut settings for this paper.
I have been fiddling with these settings and this paper for literally months trying to get it right.
For anyone else who would like to know the magic numbers this is what worked perfectly for me using my new Silhouette Cameo 4...
CUT - 9
FORCE - 15
SPEED - 2
PASSES - 5
After cutting my image out I painted it in my favorite watercolors Twinkling H2O's following this months optional color palette.
Our optional color palette for February is
Pink, Teal, Red, Gray
To go with our new theme for this new challenge.
This months theme is
X's and O's
so I was delighted when I saw the little "xoxo" sticker in my Tim Holtz ChitChat sticker book.
The rest of the card came together fairly easily once I picked out the perfect papers to match this color palette.
The red polkadots which is the opposite side of the paper with the word "LOVE" written on it, that came from a 6"x 6" paper pad called "The Station" from My Minds Eye. I have been hoarding it along with another similar pad from the same company called "Blush" for some time and I have to admit, I will be quite disappointed when they are both finally all used up.
I have tried to find them again to no avail, they were purchased in a clearance bin years ago so I suspect they were being discontinued at the time.
Too bad so sad! lol
